Owner / Coach

I started doing CrossFit in 2010, and after my very first class I was hooked. I instantly fell in love with the sport. At that time, I was simply looking for something different in my normal workout routine, and I found it. Every day brought something new and challenging. I still remember sitting at night, phone in hand, constantly refreshing the website to see the next day’s WOD. One of my favorite parts of CrossFit has always been the Olympic lifting. I love anything that has to do with a barbell. Even though I didn’t grow up doing competitive sports, CrossFit and Olympic lifting quickly became a passion of mine, constantly pushing me past what I thought was possible.

About thirteen years ago, my husband and I were asked to become trainers. At first, I was hesitant—I wasn’t sure if I could get up in front of people to coach and lead. Public speaking wasn’t my thing. But saying yes to that opportunity turned out to be one of the best decisions we’ve ever made. It led us to opening our own gym, and with that came the chance to impact lives in ways I couldn’t have imagined.

When we first opened, I thought the gym would simply be a place where people came to get into better shape. What I quickly learned is that it was so much more than that. We didn’t just build a gym—we built a family. For many, this isn’t just a place to work out; it’s their one space to relax, recharge, and truly be themselves. Watching members grow physically is inspiring, but watching them gain confidence, resilience, and friendships has been even more powerful.

Why CrossFit? For me, it’s because no two workouts are the same, and each one brings its own challenge. But beyond the workouts, it’s the community that makes CrossFit so special. Seeing people cheer each other on, celebrate PRs, or finally conquer movements they once thought were impossible—that’s what keeps me passionate about coaching. It’s about growth, support, and belonging.’

Now, after eleven years of running our own CrossFit gym, I still love walking through those doors every day. I love sharing what I’ve learned, but even more, I love watching each of you discover your own strength—physically, mentally, and emotionally—as you embark on your CrossFit journey.
